From the heart of Fayetteville, NC, VeeSax’s story begins with soul, rhythm, and a horn in his hand.
Raised in a musically rich home, VeeSax was inspired early on by his father—a gifted musician and founder of COPE Ministries, a community-based music school dedicated to developing the next generation of artists. Surrounded by instruments and purpose-filled music, VeeSax found his passion in the saxophone at an early age.
With over 27 years of experience, he has cultivated a sound that blends technical skill with deep emotion. He studied Jazz at North Carolina Central University, where he immersed himself in improvisation, ensemble work, and the art of musical storytelling.
While jazz remains his foundation, VeeSax is a lover of all forms of music—from R&B and gospel to soul, pop, and funk. His performances are known for their versatility, smooth energy, and emotional connection.
Whether performing solo, with vocalists, or alongside a full band, VeeSax creates music that moves people—turning moments into memories.
